This bass is basically a Hofner copy from around 1967. It has no name on the scrolled head stock but is absolutely from the Motsumoto manufacturing facility. It is most likely an Aria, Lyle, Conrad, Greco or Conquestidor. Since they produced 200 various variations of the violin bass, it is difficult to state. The neck plate states steel enhanced neck Made In Japan. This one is in fantastic shape when you consider it's age around 47 years of ages. There are lots of chips occasionally however generally really nice. I would challenge any new bass to play or worry as great as this one does. It sounds fantastic plugged in, unplugged it sounds chezzy. Two single coil choice ups that are immaculate. Everything functions completely. The neck is 1.5 broad the whole length and is loaded with new LaBella tape wound strings. Original cheapo case included. Great vintage ambiance. Call
